Business Leaders from Mozambique and Dubai Talk New Investment Prospects.

Attending a business meeting in Maputo recently a group of Dubai business leaders had to investigate possible synergies between the business communities of Mozambique and Dubai.

The city of Maputo hosted an event on Friday, April 25, 2025, bringing together Mozambican and Dubai-based businesses to explore new investment prospects and deepen current commercial relationships.

Organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the event called “Doing Business with Mozambique” aims to assist local businesses in finding new prospects in industries including agriculture, construction and building materials, electronics, energy, petrochemicals, engineering, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food and beverages, information and communication technology (ICT), manufacturing, shipping and maritime services, metals, real estate, retail, and supply chain and logistics.

Part of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s larger plan to increase the worldwide reach of Dubai-based businesses and enable them to benefit from profitable prospects in new foreign markets, including Mozambique, the “New Horizons” project

This project complements the objectives of the “Dubai Global” program, which seeks to assist local enterprises in investigating new possibilities in 30 target markets throughout the world.
